How much does a patio cost on the Gold Coast?
It depends on the size, roof style, roofing and your site. A freestanding flat roof patio is usually the most affordable option, while gable roofs, insulated panels and louvres add cost. Book a free measure and we'll give you a fixed price in writing.
How much does a carport cost on the Gold Coast?
A single freestanding carport is usually our most affordable option. Doubles, extra height for a caravan or boat, and gable roofs cost more. Your free measure gives you a fixed price in writing.

How quickly can I get a quote?
We give you a fixed price within five business days of your free measure.
Approvals and compliance
Do I need approval for a patio or carport on the Gold Coast?
Most patios and carports need a building approval, depending on size, height and how close they sit to your boundary. We check your site and lodge the building approval through a private certifier as part of the job. If your site also needs a council application, we'll tell you early.
Are you licensed?

Can you build a patio near my pool?
Yes. Pool areas come with Queensland pool safety rules, so we plan post positions around your pool fence from the first visit.
Will it stand up to Gold Coast storms?
Stratco Outback structures are steel, engineered by Stratco for Queensland wind and rain loads. We confirm the engineering for your block before anything is ordered.

Yes. We set the post height to suit your caravan, boat or motorhome and confirm clearances on site.
Can it match my house colours?
Yes. You choose the framework, roofing and gutter colours to match or contrast with your home.

How long does installation take?
It depends on the size of the job and your site. We'll give you an estimated timeframe in your quote and keep you updated through the build.
What warranty do I get?
Stratco covers the Outback structure for 25 years and the paint finish for 8 years. Our installation warranty runs for 7 years. Full warranty terms are in your contract.
